My channel showcases my obsession with honey bees, removing them from manmade structures of all types & from natural structures such as trees. The bee colonies are hived in my apiaries & those of good friends. A certain amount of these colonies are also available for sale throughout the season. My videos are intended to be educational as well as entertaining. I often perform bee work with close friends who are just as passionate about honey bees as I am. I routinely encourage customer participation, as they may never again have such an opportunity to get this close & personal with honey bees. I am located in southeast Louisiana, often referred to as the sportsman's paradise & occasionally you will see videos of various outdoor escapades such as frogging, fishing, hunting & crabbing. Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to step into my world for a few minutes & as always I appreciate your feedback! ...JP
Bee Man Vs Bees In Gazebo
In this video I remove a mature colony from the floor of a gazebo. The nails holding the boards in place that I removed to access the colony were well countersunk, very well countersunk!
What a pain that was!
Anyway, the bees weren't the meanest but they weren't kittens either, took some stings but never needed to suit up.
Remember the removal from the Yucca plant? If you watched that video, you may recall the bees swarmed over a few doors into a neighbor's backyard onto their fig tree & I had to seek permission to enter the yard & do my thing.
Well guess what? These did the same damn thing, lol. Watch the video & see it all unfold.
Thanks for visiting my channel & hope you have great day, cause you know I am!

Stung By Bees But Honestly, That Wasn't The Worst Of It!

Mr. Dale called me about a colony of honey bees that had taken up residency in his daughter's crawlspace & that he wanted to keep the bees. No problem! The colony had definitely moved in the previous season & due to the Chinese Tallow Tree nectar flow having just kicked in, the hive was extremely active! The bees themselves were fairly gentle albeit I did take at least 20 stings removing the hi...
Bees Moved Into Shed Wall, Then This Happened...

Rickey recently started keeping bees & when a swarm moved into a shed wall on family property he called me to get them out & place them into his beekeeping equipment so he could add this colony to his apiary. In this video we did just that. It was a bit of a pain accessing the wall void the bees occupied but thank goodness they hadn't been there that long (like, the day before!) About a week la...
Bee Man & Crazy Tree Guys VS Bee Tree
Переглядів 94 тис.Рік тому
I removed a honey bee colony from a really messed up water oak with the help of "Yeah Trees!" Wacky group of guys but very professional tree cutters! Not sure if this tree would have survived another one of the many summer storms we get, it really needed to come down. The first day I stayed on to lend a hand & keep the bees from stinging the crew. We lowered the limb the bees were in to the gro...
Bee Man Vs Massive Beehive Attached To Freeway Bridge

Huge "Open Air" or rather "External" honey bee colony attached to a concrete interstate bridge railing twenty feet up. Needed a bucket lift to perform the removal. The bees were very gentle & lots of them! The entire process went rather smoothly except for several short rain delays.

Saving 2 Beehives From Ants & Termites
If you run across a swarm of Africanised bees, they will let you know really quick. Just waving your hand will trigger their "attack mode", with 4-5 stings in 2-3 seconds. Drop everything immediately, and run for shelter immediately. Also, an Africanized swarm will sting in their maiden flights, and continue stinging...

So very good to see your new video! You have been very missed.
The Jerry Garcia of Bee Keeping!
What infrared camera do you use.
I purchased a Flir E-4 nine years ago, just recently had to replace the battery. They make Flir cameras you can use with your smartphone for a whole lot cheaper, I’d recommend a pro model.
I like the way this was done. With no vacuuming. What do you charge to remove bee's from a home? Before they tear down the house?
this is the first video I saw of yours and its been years nowive got a hive i build im going to catch a swarm thank you best bee keeper on you tube
Then chuck it to get space
Get a car jack
I always look forward to your videos JP. You are a role model for other Apiarists. Unfortunately, I live in a subdivision where keeping bees is probably not a good idea. I have an inground pool as do a number of my neighbors. I have heard the bees will be attracted to the pools and become an issue. Is there any truth to this? I also have another question. Have you ever encountered a hive where the bees were too aggressive for you to handle?
9:20 What kind of smoke is that? 🌴🔥💨😎
Hey, it's a great video. Thanks for it. We just found an old abandoned hive in a tire. Google image search popped up your video as the first match.
Hope you are having a great weekend . Hope whatever has gotten in the way of you posting your amazing videos sort’s itself out . Really miss seeing your videos and friends .
I realy missed your videos!
I enjoyed these videos and subscribed until I kept getting ads begging for money for the Trump campaign.
That’s certainly not my doing, must be a UA-cam thing.
That’s a first for me too. Never seen honey bees go into the ground like yellow jackets that way. I guess God save the queen was their mentality on that.

Insane!
That's the beginning stages of Heat Stroke JP. Stay safe out there, Brother......I've gotten to that point in Afghanistan a couple of times before with the same symptoms.....🙏🏾🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾🫡
Good to see you posting again 👍
Sure have missed seeing your videos.
A new video should be up soon, been working on it when I can, very busy this bee season, thanks for being patient. ✌️🐝✌️
I like your chill posture. You were definitely comfortable while doing the extraction.
What do you charge for a removal?
How did this even happen?
When a swarm of bees leave the parent colony they will usually land on something like a tree branch in rural areas but in residential areas they can land on literally anything from a fire hydrant, side of a building to a car or boat or whatever. The swarm cluster usually rests between 1-3 days before moving on to a more permanent place they will colonize.
Nice @$$
I think I did but it was moving fast
Great sound quality. What microphone are you using?
Firstly, Sony handhelds in my experience have fantastic audio quality but also I use Final Cut Pro to edit my videos (last 5 years) & usually set the audio quality to “music.” Comes in loud & clear imo & apparently yours too. 😉✌️🐝✌️
T-shirt and shorts? Your a brave man. I'd look like an astronaut with the gear I'd wear 😂
I love watching your videos but that cat bit was NOT funny
You’re the best, JP! Long time subscriber and I appreciate every new video!
I really enjoy your videos JP. Thanks for sharing.
When will the next video be out please
I’ve been working on it when I can but I’ve been extremely busy with work. Shouldn’t be too much longer, thanks for your patience. ✌️🐝✌️
Build up cardiovascular. It will help u with heat exhaustion.
I miss hearing the music u would play when u work it would put me in a bee trance.
I'm glad to see you. I'm looking forward to the next one.
JP GOOD TO SEE YOU BACK!!!!!!!!!!
Great to see you , missed your videos .
That girl has a nice Beehind on her! Like with any living being, if you give them a good reason, they will do as you want. With dogs (trainer here) I have to teach owners how to convince their dogs to do what they want. It’s as simple and as difficult as that
So happy to see you This new video. Please know you are missed.
I was thinking about trying to remove bees from my dad's house, thanks for this video❤
Do you have a preferred Varroa treatment JP?
Thank you, thank you, thank you for using a bee vacuum that does not kill those precious honey bees. I read a sign that said, "When the bees are gone, we are gone." We really need the bees for pollination of everything we eat for our survival.
Bees are a spool of wire. That sounds like a good name for your next video
Hope you had a good Winter, but it is good to have you back. Looking to many more videos this Spring and summer
Pretty ladies 🐝💛🙏🏼
Have a neighbor with bee boxes a half mile up the road. Every summer a swarm comes to my roses and rehomes in a camper on my property. With zero knowledge I assumed they'd just go home. Who knows how many bees died overwintering on my property because I didn't know enough to try to care for them., Bought a bee box kit for when it happens this year.
Get you some! ✌️🐝✌️
